He is a mechanical engineering graduate and former Chief Executive and Chairman of the Heavy Water Board of the DAE. He has more than 35 years of experience in design and construction of heavy water plants in India. He is an Energy Auditor certified by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency of India. In recognition of his achievements in the field of Energy conservation, he has been awarded Padma Shri by the President of India in 2002. He has been a member of the board of directors of a few public limited companies.

S. P. Singh
He is a chemical engineering graduate from IIT Kharagpur and former Head, Nuclear Safety Division of AERB(Atomic Energy Regulatory Board). He has obtained advanced training in nuclear fuel management, safety, reliability analysis, risk management and emergency response. He has many years of experience in design, technical services, and regulation for safety of nuclear facilities. He has been a Consultant to IAEA and Member States. His paper “Small Modular Reactors in India Power Generation-Prospective and Prospects” was publishes in March,2023 issue of International Journal of Innovative Science and Research Technology.

Alok S. Bhattacharya
He is a post-graduate in technology from Kolkata University and former Associate Director (Simulators and Training), General Manager (HRD), Chief Engineer (Training) of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. (NPCIL). He has many years of experience in Human Resource Development (HRD) function. He obtained special training in HRD and trainers’ training in leading institutes like ASCI, NITIE, XLRI, IIMB etc. and worked with IIMA, NTPC, MDI, NITIE, TMTC, NPC, AIMA, etc. as an NPCIL management representative to facilitate their consultancy assignments from NPCIL.

K.M. Shirolkar
He is a mechanical engineering graduate and former Chief Engineer (Operation & Design Support) of NPCIL. He has many years of experience in design and engineering of reactor process systems and preparation of specifications for process systems equipment, techno-commercial evaluation of bids and approval of manufacturers’ drawings and documents. After leaving NPCIL,he was associated with the work related to preparation of Intelligent P&IDs and 3D Modelling for KAPP-3&4.

S L Mandowara
He is an electrical engineering graduate and former Associate Director (Health,Safety and Environment) and Chief Engineer (Nuclear Safety) in NPCIL. He has more than 38 years of experience in commissioning and operation of nuclear power plants including nuclear safety.

Rajeev Pillai
He is a mechanical engineering graduate with a Diploma in Management. He has more than 23 years of experience in design and engineering of utilities related to petrochemical, polyester and nuclear power plants. He has extensive work experience on international projects.

M. G. Joseph
He is a mechanical engineering graduate with a diploma in industrial safety and former Dy. Chief Engineer, Industrial & Fire Safety in NPCIL. He has more than 25 years of experience in industrial safety. He has been a Lead Auditor for ISO 14001 and OHSAS. He has presented more than 25 papers in national and international seminars.

K.K.Mehta
He is an electrical engineer graduate with a post graduate diploma in industrial safety and former Additional Chief Engineer, Industrial and Fire Safety of NPCIL. He has many years of experience in industrial and fire safety of power plants.

M.L.Joshi
He is a postgraduate in Physics and former Head, Health Physics Division of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. He has many years of experience in safety studies and radiological protection activities in nuclear power plants and other nuclear facilities.

D.V.Vishwaroop
He is an electrical engineering graduate and former Chief Engineer (Technical Training) of NPCIL. He has over twenty years of experience in maintenance of nuclear power plants particularly the process instrumentation and control for the primary heat transport system at Rajasthan Atomic Power Station. Further, he has extensive experience in training O&M personnel.

B Ramamirtham
He is a postgraduate in Physics and former Additional Chief Engineer (Radiation & Environment safety) of NPCIL.He has extensive experience in the areas of Operational radiation protection in nuclear power reactors, environment impact assessment and radiological emergency preparedness. He has experience in conducting NORM surveys in the North East areas of the country.

He is an electrical engineering graduate. He has more than 35 years of experience in design, analysis, quality assurance and procurement related to electrical instrumentation systems for nuclear power plants in NPCIL. He has also experience in project management functions related to implementation of instrumentation systems in various nuclear power projects in the country.

He is an electrical engineering graduate. He has an overall experience of about 35 years in construction of PHWR and VVER type nuclear power plants in India. During his career with NPCIL, he has held the posts of Project Director KKNPP -3&4, and Chief Engineer, KKNPP- 1&2.

He is a mechanical engineering graduate and former Executive Director (Quality Assurance) of NPCIL.During his 35 years of engagement with NPCIL, he has worked for various nuclear power projects. His field of work was establishing quality systems, interpretation of National and International codes and standards and verification of quality of products

J.P.Moolani
He is an electrical engineering graduate and former Chief Engineer (Knowledge Management) of NPCIL. Earlier he was the Training superintendent at the RAPP Nuclear Training Centre. He was responsible for development and implementation of Systematic Approach to Training of personnel for NPP operation. He was also involved in selection, training, qualification and licensing of personnel for O&M for NPPs.

S.K.Fotedar
He is a chemical engineering graduate and former Chief Engineer (International Coordination) and Technical Advisor to the CMD , NPCIL. He has worked for about 8 years as Senior Safety Officer in the Division of Nuclear Safety at IAEA. Before joining IAEA, he had many years of working experience in the field of commissioning, operation and management of nuclear power plants.

J.V.Reddy
He is a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from NIT, Kurukshetra and former Associate Director (Piping & Equipment Design Analysis) of NPCIL. He has many years of experience in design and analysis of Nuclear and Conventional systems of PHWRs.
Field of Specialization:ASME codal compliance of piping, vessels of Nuclear Power Plants.
P Mohan
He is a civil engineering graduate and former Chief Engineer –JNPP and former Chief Engineer Kaiga- 3&4. He has overall experience of about 37 years in the field of planning, monitoring & implementation of nuclear project construction activities.
Field of Specialization:Project Management.
Dr. AK Kohli
He is a post graduate in Design of Mechanical Equipment and Ph. D., in Nuclear Tribology from IIT Delhi. He is former CEO of Board of Radiation and Isotope Technology (BRIT). Initially he worked on design and development of fuel handling equipment for PHWR and PFBR at BARC. He has worked on design of shipping casks and irradiation plants at BRIT. He was a Distinguished Scientist and Raja Ramanna Fellow.
Field of Specialization:1) Security of radiation facilities and devices 2) Applications of radiation in industry and agriculture.
K. R. Anilkumar
He is a mechanical engineering graduate and former Executive Director in NPCIL. He has 38 years experience in various aspects of BWR nuclear power plants. Key areas of experience include nuclear plant operation, systems commissioning, refuelling outage management related activities, systems and equipment’s' performance monitoring, ISI, FAC, ILRT, chemistry control, fuel performance monitoring, IAEA safeguards, design basis safety analysis, plant life management studies, regulatory interactions and implementation of safety upgrades.

Rajesh Kumar Laad
He is an electrical engineering graduate and former Associate Director (Business Development) of NPCIL and has overall experience of more than 36 years. He has an excellent understating of the designs of electrical systems and the interface of nuclear power plants with the grid covering techno-commercial aspects. He has significantly contributed to evolution/implementation of transmission systems and islanding schemes. He was involved in power system studies, interactions with CERC regarding free governor operation & frequency control for NPPs. He was also involved in design and engineering of electrical systems of NPPs including 400 KV switchyard. He was also involved in the preparation of DPR for Malshej Ghat Pumped Storage Hydro Project in Maharashtra.

Arun Kumar Singh
He is a mechanical engineering graduate from BIT Mesra Ranchi and former Associate Director (Quality Assurance ) at NPCIL.He has about 37 years of experience working for operating stations, construction projects, and at NPCIL , Mumbai. His experience has been in the field of quality assurance, pre-service and in- service inspection and independent oversight.
Field of specialization:Quality assurance including In-Service Inspection.
George Sebastian
He is an electrical engineering graduate and former Associate Director of NPCIL. He has over 35 years’ experience in design of electrical systems for nuclear power plants (220MWe and 700MWe), 220kV and 400kV switchyards, and grid interactions. He has also experience in reviewing vendor drawings, quality plans and testing of turbo generators , 220kV Transformers and switchyard equipment, 600kVA UPS, chargers and batteries etc. He has presented several papers including that in CBIP, CIGRE and served as a faculty member for training.

J.K.Thomas
He is a mechanical engineering graduate and former Additional Chief Engineer (Reactor Components) of NPCIL. He has over 34 years of experience in the design and realization of PHWRs core systems for 540 MWe and 700 MWe programmes. During his career with NPCIL, he was heading the Coolant Channel Section. His expertise spans technical design documentation, detailed design calculations, safety analysis, manufacturing coordination, and site execution, along with extensive interaction with AERB for regulatory approvals. He has been actively involved in reviewing design notes, safety analysis reports, specifications, and standard documents, ensuring compliance with ASME codes and international standards. He has led critical work on coolant channel systems / Primary Heat Transport Systems, Annulus Gas Monitoring Systems, and Zircaloy components, covering various nuclear power plants. Since his retirement from NPCIL, he has been actively studying SMR developments in various countries particularly their designs and costs aspects.
Field of Specialization:Design and engineering of the reactor core components and the associated regulatory reviews.
Atul Tandon
He is a chemical engineering graduate from NIT Raipur and Executive MBA. He was also a cost accountant and former Head Commercial Group of NPCIL. He has more than 36 years of experience including 20 years with multinational companies like Rolls-Royce and Wartsila. He has extensive experience in sales and marketing, business control, contract management, procurement and handling of commercial and legal issues. He was the Member Secretary of the high level Committee of the DAE that finalized the methodology of fixing nuclear power tariff in the country.
